The corner ended in Virgil van Dijk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. Florian Chodzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Zawaski. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Chodzinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Elivareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Chodzinski having to make a save. Vânderson Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian Chodzinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cecilio Tristan went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. The Blaugrana Stare Tychy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abuba Akotonon FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Cecilio Tristan made the kick off in the second half. Cezary Kossakowski struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cezary Kossakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Kossakowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Orlando Gatti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Cezary Kossakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
