Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) AC United's Bernt Carlberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When AC United's Robin Holmgren in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Man Tas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Engman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Ma Feng Kuan in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tadeu Jacinto. 19 minutes into the game, Bernt Carlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobias Elizardo. Bernt Carlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alf Engman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Man Tas went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alf Engman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Man Tas in the 32nd minute of play. Tobias Elizardo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Robin Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Spychalski in the 54th minute of play forced AC United's goalkeeper Alf Engman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogumil Spychalski was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento de Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bernt Carlberg hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Alex Herrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alf Engman. The goal made the score 1-2. After 70 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Ma Feng Kuan. If Alex Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alf Engman made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Alex Herrero sent off a good shot on target. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alonzo Peruxu was substituted for Bogumil Spychalski. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Dante Oton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arne Alén in the 79 minute of the game. Alex Herrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alf Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes AC United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francis Sarmiento who took care of the corner kick. Francis Sarmiento made a great header on Sarmiento de Resistencia's corner, it was just that AC United's Alf Engman managed to reach the ball for a save. 87 minutes into the match, AC United's goalkeeper Alf Engman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francis Sarmiento. Alf Engman made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Francis Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lindman in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Alonzo Peruxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Engman. AC United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Peruxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Sarmiento de Resistencia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sarmiento de Resistencia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
