Asarum's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Dave Nash scored to the left of an out of position Seppe Dobbeleir, making the score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Marco Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seppe Dobbeleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, André Fraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Oliveirense and the Asarum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes AD Oliveirense got a freekick which was hit by André Fraga. 25 minutes into the match, AD Oliveirense's Marco Espírito Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seppe Dobbeleir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Seppe Dobbeleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfréd Fenyvessy, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, AD Oliveirense's Alfréd Fenyvessy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Nash to strike the kick off in the second half.
