Júlio César made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Man Tas in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, AD Oliveirense's Dave Nash sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind AD Oliveirense's goalkeeper Júlio César, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Man Tas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio César was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th match minute, AD Oliveirense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inko Bullido to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabrício Baía was slow to take the kick. During this time AD Oliveirense's players had a chance to rest. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Espírito Santo in the 26th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Nash in the 27th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Nash in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, AD Oliveirense's Júlio César got control of the ball when Man Tas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute 贺宽桦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Man Tas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Alex Herrero replaced Man Tas. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Nash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Grady Beckman hit a great ball. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Baía in the 55th minute of the match. If Bogumil Spychalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Espírito Santo came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Herrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio César came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero. But to his dismay, Alex Herrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alex Herrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AD Oliveirense's Marco Fonseca was substituted for Marco Espírito Santo. AD Oliveirense made a substitution. Celedonio Berenguer replaced Dave Nash. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Alex Herrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Francis Sarmiento was substituted for Henning Martinsson. Alex Herrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio César having to make a save. Júlio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Herrero in the 89th minute of the match. Celedonio Berenguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AD Oliveirense's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sarmiento de Resistencia had won, even though AD Oliveirense had held more of the ball.
