The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SAPI FC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after AC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tito Rangkuti took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sad Boy heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Carlberg got free with Paijo Sutrisna in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute AC United were awarded a corner. Arne Alén went to the cornerflag to take it. Maman Sandiaji's late challenge caught a SAPI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maman Sandiaji helped the player get up and apologised. Maman Sandiaji kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Caio Dante scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alf Engman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Caio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Engman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Engman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sad Boy kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Bernt Carlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paijo Sutrisna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Engman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Dante in the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th match minute, AC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Lindman to maneuver through the defense. Alf Engman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Engman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Dante in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st play minute Caio Dante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alf Engman. 1-2. Paijo Sutrisna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAPI FC's Paijo Sutrisna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lindman in the 80th minute of play. After 91 played minutes SAPI FC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Dante. Paijo Sutrisna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Amir Khalid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SAPI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
