An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Mietus in the 6th minute of play forced Club Atlético Matienzo's goalkeeper Andres Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Matienzo's Andres Horado got control of the ball when Radomil Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Matienzo's Severino Idacio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute, Radomil Mietus made a precise shot to the right of Andres Horado. Club Atlético Matienzo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Club Atlético Matienzo's Andres Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mietus in the 15th minute of play. Pastor Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With his leg Andres Horado managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Horado having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match, Radomil Mietus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andres Horado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute, Mateo Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Martins scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Horado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Platon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Verón in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Horado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Adrian Platon notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman. But to his dismay, Radomil Mietus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 85 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Matienzo's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Verón came free, but Andres Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee showed Adrian Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Sportivo Quilmes booed when Club Atlético Matienzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sportivo Quilmes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
