Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Martins to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Mietus in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Matxin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Wlodzimierz Absolwent was substituted for Waldemar Przybylo. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Samuel Medero was substituted for Silverio Chuan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomil Mietus in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Matxin saved BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting behind. The Club Sportivo Quilmes fans cheered their team off the field, for while BAC Belgrano de Cba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
