Erlin Haaland took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theron Dooley. Theron Dooley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Erlin Haaland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 16 minutes into the match, NDG Fury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erlin Haaland came free, but Theron Dooley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Premier FC's Erlin Haaland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theron Dooley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dorival Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Arenstedt in the 21st minute of the match. Ermegildo Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Theron Dooley made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ómar Sharif in the 28th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theron Dooley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Edorta's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Velloso got free with Theron Dooley in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ómar Sharif was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Haaland in the 52nd minute of play forced NDG Fury FC's goalkeeper Theron Dooley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ómar Sharif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorival Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ómar Sharif showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 70 minute of play. With an all-out effort, NDG Fury FC's Dorival Freire threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ómar Sharif, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mårten Arenstedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Dorival Freire when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, NDG Fury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvestre Larocque to maneuver through the defense. Theron Dooley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duda Velloso went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Duda Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theron Dooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Velloso in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ermegildo Edorta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
