Zhao Peng Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Zhao Peng Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Peng Yi in the 38th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Peng Yi came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Peng Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Peng Yi in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhao Peng Yi was the one to do the kick off. Zhao Peng Yi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorival Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Peng Yi ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Freezerpool FC booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Koekkoek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freezerpool FC's Joaquin Inzunza was substituted for Levanto Bolas. After 71 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Bart Koekkoek. If Robert Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Lewandowski in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Premier FC's zone, Valentín Barco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Freire came out of the goal and Valentín Barco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Lewandowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorival Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Lewandowski ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Premier FC's Dorival Freire got control of the ball when Robert Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorival Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lewandowski in the 95th minute of play. The Freezerpool FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
