NDG Fury FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Tecka Viejo Nomás's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chauncey Veilleux took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Chauncey Veilleux got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Bonano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Belyanko in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theron Dooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Tecka Viejo Nomás's Roberto Bonano got control of the ball when Mårten Arenstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of NDG Fury FC booed when Tecka Viejo Nomás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Chauncey Veilleux in the 45th minute really tested Roberto Bonano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Belyanko to strike the kick off in the second half. Tecka Viejo Nomás's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
