Neal Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute Bray McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neal Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Montana in the 13th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Antequera hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Medeiros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 孔扬翔. Neal Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the DaLian MyLord FC defense, Fernandão Recife kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neal Wakefield. The DaLian MyLord FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neal Wakefield should have stopped the shot. Neal Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bray McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandão Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neal Wakefield having to make a save. In the 29th minute Olavo Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neal Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Matorin in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neal Wakefield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 尤远荣 in the 32nd minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luisito Antequera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Montevideo's Bray McJon in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DaLian MyLord FC's goalie prevented a goal. Montevideo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilson Fernandez in the 36th minute. Neal Wakefield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Antequera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Zé Pedro Montana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 尤远荣, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Antequera got free with Neal Wakefield in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 高思岩 kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Wilson Fernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neal Wakefield showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bray McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Neal Wakefield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Montana in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Antequera did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Neal Wakefield 85 minutes into the match. Fernandão Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Neal Wakefield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Montana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Medeiros. Montevideo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Pedro Montana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Montevideo played a much better game than DaLian MyLord FC and deserved their victory. The DaLian MyLord FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
