In the 12th minute Dionisia were awarded a corner. Lucio Garoa went to the cornerflag to take it. 19 minutes into the game, Melchor Quintyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yofré AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dionisia the free kick. After 19 played minutes Yofré AFC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Quintyn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Lizardi in the 26th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Mateo Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Tomás Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Lizardi in the 38th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Orlando Lizardi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yofré AFC's protests and gave Orlando Lizardi a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Lizardi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dionisia made a substitution. Florencio Chano replaced Denis Ereinotz. In the 44th minute, Orlando Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Beturian got free with Venancio Cesario in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Lizardi in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Beturian was the one to do the kick off. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Dionisia from getting a goal against them. After 56 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Stanislovas Miškinis. Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang was substituted for Arnaldo Beturian. Yofré AFC made a substitution. Raimundo Frederik replaced Melchor Quintyn. Dionisia's Melchor Gregory was substituted for Sebastian Cisco. The supporters of Yofré AFC booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislovas Miškinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim Eanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Lucio Garoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Peng Sha Yang made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Cesario. Yofré AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Yofré AFC's Jonatan Regis was substituted for Carlos Dolfo. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Lucio Garoa got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Messi. Venancio Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Lizardi got free with Serafim Eanes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Florencio Chano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Dionisia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Chano couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yofré AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dionisia.
