The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of United booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Rogoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Emilio Cascajares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sabahattin Erten. Emilio Cascajares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabahattin Erten having to make a save. In the 16th minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Florencio Oihan made a precise shot to the right of Eskil Vester. October 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 31st minute of the match, Fellipe Valle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sabahattin Erten was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fellipe Valle 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabahattin Erten having to make a save. Sabahattin Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute Florencio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Cascajares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilio Cascajares took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabahattin Erten. Sabahattin Erten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 56th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Custódio to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Emilio Cascajares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but United's Sabahattin Erten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Cascajares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Cascajares struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sabahattin Erten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for October 04. October 04's Horácio Aguiar was substituted for Luís Paulo Pernambucano. Eskil Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Florencio Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. United made a substitution. Arif Chian replaced Rolando Bela. Arif Chian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Eskil Vester when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emilio Cascajares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabahattin Erten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Erten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for October 04.
