The supporters of United booed when Southern Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bleyd Dorrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Bela came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Angelino Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Bela in the 10th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Eliot Pfingst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliot Pfingst came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by United's Rolando Bela. But to his dismay, Rolando Bela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Florencio Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliot Pfingst having to interfere. Rolando Bela did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Eliot Pfingst 18 minutes into the match. 3-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Rolando Bela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eliot Pfingst made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Florencio Oihan sent off a good shot on target. Eliot Pfingst was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Modesto Peirano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Peirano really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Modesto Peirano came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliot Pfingst could save by the left post. Eliot Pfingst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Dan Cubitt got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Sabahattin Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Inestrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Southern Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Cai Inestrosa.

53 minutes into the match, United's goalkeeper Sabahattin Erten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Ospin. Eliot Pfingst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Peirano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Modesto Peirano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliot Pfingst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Bela came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Erten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Millgate in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Southern Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battle Minne to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Bela came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Erten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurkan Salah in the 64th minute of the match. Angelino Ospins short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Sabahattin Erten to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Modesto Peirano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Oihan in the 74th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Eliot Pfingst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Ospin scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabahattin Erten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. United made a substitution. Arif Chian replaced Rolando Bela. United's Arif Chian got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Peirano came free, but Eliot Pfingst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Arif Chian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliot Pfingst. Southern Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Chian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Sabahattin Erten made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cai Inestrosa sent off a good shot on target. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 91st minute, but Sabahattin Erten got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving United hanging dry this time. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Arif Chian sped through Southern Thrashers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliot Pfingst. Southern Thrashers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
