After 16 minutes of play, NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slavomil Kalný was left in no man's land by his defense there! NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Bento in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavomil Kalný saved Tenha Dó Dó Dó from getting behind. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 22nd minute of play. Dominik Pietrasz charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Pietrasz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dominik Pietrasz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Birkenhagen couldn't finish the play. Zé Paulo Trancosos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Du to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 34 minutes, Zé Paulo Trancoso made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. NDVX's Du tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Slavomil Kalný, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bento in the 43rd minute of play forced Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Slavomil Kalný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Roberto Mandrak got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slavomil Kalný narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Crea to make the kick off. Kazimierz Birkenhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavomil Kalný having to interfere. Zé Paulo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Haroldo Marquez was substituted for César Carneiro. Du took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NDVX's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominik Pietrasz in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, one of Tenha Dó Dó Dó:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tenha Dó Dó Dó. The goalkeeper, Slavomil Kalný, was totally fooled by NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kazimierz Birkenhagen had several of the Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Slavomil Kalný as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to NDVX getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kazimierz Jastrowicz hit a great ball. Slavomil Kalný made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent off a good shot on target. Slavomil Kalný showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Roberto Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded NDVX left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tenha Dó Dó Dó.
