Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Toledo in the 4th minute of play. Alonzo Carrillos took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Vargas. Renato Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Silvano Garcez's late challenge caught a The Power Guido FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Garcez helped the player get up and apologised. Silvano Garcez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Wiliam Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Long John got free with Renato Vargas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renato Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Toledo in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucílio Figueiras came free, but Enéas Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucílio Figueiras in the 46th minute of play forced The Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Enéas Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Long John made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Wiliam Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Renato Vargas came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by The Power Guido FC's Lenílson Toledo. But to his dismay, Lenílson Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Long John came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the The Power Guido FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Long John couldn't finish the play. Renato Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Toledo in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, The Power Guido FC's Wiliam Fernandes made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wiliam Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Virgílio Portugal got a free kick in the 77th minute. The Power Guido FC made a substitution. Aílton Rezende replaced Alonzo Carrillos. The Power Guido FC's Rafael Carioca was substituted for Long John. The Power Guido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenílson Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Eloy Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Power Guido FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
