The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Zalm in the 4th minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Pankracy Pasterski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Flashdynamica booed when Stal Sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Dres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Tommie Meyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flashdynamica and the Stal Sanok players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brain Veldman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cui Liang Xiong in the 14th minute of play. Lin Ang hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Stal Sanok's Pankracy Pasterski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Poels in the 20th minute of play. Pankracy Pasterski came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm. But to his dismay, Barry Zalm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Scott came free, but Pankracy Pasterski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Pasterski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Zalm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Boleslaw Dres got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert got control of the ball when Cihat Cevval tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Cui Liang Xiong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Stal Sanok getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ari Hakanpää hit a great ball. Cihat Cevval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Krommert having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Flashdynamica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Schrute to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cihat Cevval made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Stal Sanok getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dragoş Antoniu hit a great ball. Hendrik-Jan Krommert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cihat Cevval's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihat Cevval in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Ari Hakanpää got a free kick in the 60th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Pankracy Pasterski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rdth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stal Sanok's Pankracy Pasterski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Ari Hakanpää shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flashdynamica's Raymond Fleur was substituted for Koen Poels. Hendrik-Jan Krommert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lin Ang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flashdynamica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
