But to his dismay, Maurinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 12th minute of the match. Claretiano FC's Favila Ribadas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan Rein Karremans in the 14 minute of the game. If Maurinho Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Westenenk's zone, Maurinho Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaap van der Schans came out of the goal and Maurinho Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birila Graña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy van den Eede in the 18th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Westenenk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Claretiano FC:s goal. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 23rd minute of play. Jan Rein Karremans got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valio Tammisto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Mendonça in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap van der Schans saved Westenenk from getting behind. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Mendonça. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 38th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaap van der Schans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurinho Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Mendonça came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Claretiano FC booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Hansma didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Claretiano FC could leave the field as winners, despite Westenenk having more of the ball for most of the match.
