Renato Vargas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Renato Vargas made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Maurinho Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Maurinho Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Renato Vargas made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Maurinho Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renato Vargas. Sporting Clube de Gaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Norino Tostado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Renato Vargas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eurico lago got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matias Lobo. Norino Tostado might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norino Tostado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Maurinho Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Claretiano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Renato Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norino Tostado in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Norino Tostado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renato Vargas. That made the score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredy Montero in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birila Graña saved Claretiano FC from getting behind. Birila Graña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredy Montero's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Claretiano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredy Montero who took care of the corner kick. 39 minutes into the game, Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucílio Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Maurinho Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurinho Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Mendonça came free, but Renato Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

A collision led to Sporting Clube de Gaya getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eurico lago hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Claretiano FC's Ruben Malta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renato Vargas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Claretiano FC reached it. Maurinho Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renato Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Maurinho Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claretiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renato Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norino Tostado in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fredy Montero could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Birila Graña however easily saved by the left post. Renato Vargas came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça. But to his dismay, Maurinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Claretiano FC made a substitution. Gelacio Salceda replaced Qu Lei Chang. Maurinho Mendonça hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sporting Clube de Gaya booed when Claretiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmu Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredy Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute Armando Mendes collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 90 minutes, Harkaitz Xavalera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claretiano FC and the Sporting Clube de Gaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Claretiano FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Harkaitz Xavalera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 95th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Renato Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Claretiano FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Clube de Gaya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
