Pedro Luís Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Imbituba - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Renato Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Burnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renato Vargas. Sporting Clube de Gaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathaniel Burnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 15 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathaniel Burnett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Renato Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Nathaniel Burnett made a precise shot to the right of Renato Vargas. Sporting Clube de Gaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Eurico lago got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Pedro Luís Fonseca went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rogério da Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renato Vargas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renato Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pedro Luís Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas did a great save. Renato Vargas came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Nathaniel Burnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Vargas having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Renato Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube de Gaya's zone, Dani Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Vargas came out of the goal and Dani Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rogério da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nathaniel Burnett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Maltez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Maltez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Sporting Clube de Gaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Maltez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube de Gaya's zone, Nathaniel Burnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Vargas came out of the goal and Nathaniel Burnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Maltez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas got control of the ball when Nathaniel Burnett tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nathaniel Burnett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renato Vargas was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Burnett notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas. Renato Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renato Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 66th minute of the match. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Burnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renato Vargas. Ersan Ergüleç replaced Nathaniel Burnett. Renato Vargas was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Válbson Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renato Vargas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ersan Ergüleç shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-12 in the ordered_time% minute. Ersan Ergüleç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Renato Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 91st minute of play. Ersan Ergüleç struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Renato Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imbituba - FSCMZ. Renato Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Renato Vargas came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ersan Ergüleç. But to his dismay, Ersan Ergüleç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Imbituba - FSCMZ played a much better game than Sporting Clube de Gaya and deserved their victory. The Sporting Clube de Gaya players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
