Nicodemo Recalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Nilsson in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Jar.C Lipno's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Mac Kenney came free, but Wladyslaw Czerwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wladyslaw Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xalvador Mac Kenney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Blanco got free with Wladyslaw Czerwinski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes Jar.C Lipno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reces Cabanillas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alonzo Rosselot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wladyslaw Czerwinski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Alonzo Rosselot put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wladyslaw Czerwinski. 35 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Dranka came free, but Nicodemo Recalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germán Seisdedos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, one of VILLANUEVA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VILLANUEVA FC. In the 37th minute, Cesinha Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jar.C Lipno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Izydor Dranka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Esteban José Norambuena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Czerwinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save VILLANUEVA FC from getting a goal against them. Wladyslaw Czerwinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Gazitúa in the 55th minute of the match. Nicodemo Recalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Dranka in the 61st minute of play. Cesinha Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Cesinha Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wladyslaw Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalvador Mac Kenney in the 69th minute of play. Wladyslaw Czerwinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Mikael Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nicodemo Recalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greg Walker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Jar.C Lipno's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nicodemo Recalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izydor Dranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Jar.C Lipno getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Witold Brytan hit a great ball. Jar.C Lipno's Wladyslaw Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalvador Mac Kenney in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gerardo Gazitúa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Marcel Blanco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Czerwinski. Jar.C Lipno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Blanco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 91st match minute, Jar.C Lipno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Dranka to maneuver through the defense. If Marcel Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. VILLANUEVA FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jar.C Lipno had controlled the match.
