Gerardo Gazitúa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Erkut Tun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanco in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Esteban José Norambuena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erkut Tun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erkut Tun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xalvador Mac Kenney's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Nicodemo Recalde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrice Delsaut in the 19th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicodemo Recalde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Xacobo Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 52 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti came free, but Nicodemo Recalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SubaV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
