Servet Bahçıvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Schrijns. 68Aksarayspor's Servet Bahçıvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Brasil in the 17th minute of play. Servet Bahçıvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Paredes Fortes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by 68Aksarayspor's Ertan Akağan. But to his dismay, Ertan Akağan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sacit Reşat hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 68Aksarayspor's goalie prevented a goal. If Ertan Akağan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ertan Akağan scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paredes Fortes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ahmet Tolga Demirer came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the 68Aksarayspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Tolga Demirer couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Poza kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ertan Akağan made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Ünal Yasık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of AKI CORINTHIANS booed when 68Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Poza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Poza. In the 67th minute of the match Alfred Schrijns shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Servet Bahçıvan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciro Brasil came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Servet Bahçıvan could save by the left post. When Ertan Akağan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the 68Aksarayspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertan Akağan couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes 68Aksarayspor got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Yalazabey. If Albino Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Ertan Akağan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paredes Fortes. AKI CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertan Akağan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. AKI CORINTHIANS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
