Compostela FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti scored to the left of an out of position Cesar Peyo, making the score, 1-0. In the 44th minute of the match Mauro Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erkut Tun skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslaw Niezgoda made a kick off. Erkut Tun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão Cerezo in the 56th minute. SubaV's Erkut Tun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save SubaV from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Ercüment Acıbadem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SubaV's Erkut Tun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Cerezo in the 66th minute of play. Jaroslaw Niezgoda charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Erkut Tun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chicão Cerezo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Justino Loramendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Erkut Tun made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Poling in the 89th minute of play forced SubaV's goalkeeper Erkut Tun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Compostela FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Compostela FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
