Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Durant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti in the 15th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Durant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkut Tun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Beaune in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SubaV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marian Racoviceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyon 69ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Racoviceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erkut Tun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erkut Tun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, SubaV's goal looked a bit too open when Anatol Hönes came free, but Erkut Tun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Beaune could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erkut Tun made a huge save. Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Slaveyko Grúbchev. Guy Durant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Bolton in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ercüment Acıbadem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Anatol Hönes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkut Tun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 52 played minutes SubaV got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Paprotny. Marian Racoviceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erkut Tun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatol Hönes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel Bolton charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lionel Bolton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, SubaV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Bolton to maneuver through the defense. Erkut Tun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 58th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Anatol Hönes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkut Tun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Tom Beaune notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SubaV's Erkut Tun. Erkut Tun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Reynald Baillou. Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti's late challenge caught a Lyon 69ers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SubaV getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play SubaV's Lionel Bolton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, SubaV's Lionel Bolton got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrice Delsaut in the 85th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SubaV's zone, Anatol Hönes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erkut Tun came out of the goal and Anatol Hönes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Kürşat Serdengeçti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Guy Durant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SubaV players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lyon 69ers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
