Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Nilmar Marinho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maftei in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot 3 in the game by Damian Maftei from a close distance when the talented Dani Hernández managed to make a qualified save. Chivos de Punto Fijo's players were relieved. Damian Maftei did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dani Hernández 3 minutes into the match. Martinez Cines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dani Hernández having to interfere. Honorio Cerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aguinaga Nebot came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Narciso Gombal. But to his dismay, Narciso Gombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 17th minute of the match. Dani Hernández made an important save on a dangerous shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 19th minute. Damian Maftei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dani Hernández read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefanos Terzopoulos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Stefanos Terzopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández did a great save. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Honorio Cerra in the 29 minute of the game. With a little luck, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández got control of the ball when İbrahim Volkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Cerra in the 32nd minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Damian Maftei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dani Hernández, 2-1. In the 37th minute Nilmar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Cerra in the 39th minute of play. Stefanos Terzopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Honorio Cerra made a precise shot to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Chivos de Punto Fijo from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Maftei made a kick off. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Cerra in the 51st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Aguinaga Nebot threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Cerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Damian Maftei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dani Hernández was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Cerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 56th minute of the match. Dani Hernández dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 71 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dani Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefanos Terzopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Torrent, made in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Castillo in the 82nd minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Zhao Shu Cheng seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zhao Shu Cheng the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chivos de Punto Fijo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zhao Shu Cheng had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dani Hernández had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Stefanos Terzopoulos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Stefanos Terzopoulos did a trick in the 86th minute in front of Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 5-2. An impressive performance by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos! An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 89th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Esmeraldas S.C. from getting a goal against them.
