In the 22nd minute of the match Viktor Kasarda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jalmari Mikkonen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavol Rybnický in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jalmari Mikkonen saved Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. After taking down the ball on UFC Pivnica's corner Viktor Kasarda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jalmari Mikkonen quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nurettin in the 44th minute of play forced UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Ghiondea to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 95th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Vlas to maneuver through the defense.
