The supporters of Rákóczifalva SE booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Xandinho Sharkin. Pedro Augusto Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bin Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Pedro Augusto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 21st minute of the match. Donato Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Bin Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Augusto Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bin Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Salgado having to interfere. Vilmos Mester hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Pedro Augusto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado got control of the ball when Bin Shevchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edvaldo de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrián Császár hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gáspár Tulipán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Pedro Augusto Salgado came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Bin Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luiz Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Császár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 64th minute of play. Vilmos Mester hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 70th minute of play forced Rákóczifalva SE's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Császár in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match İlkan Lefter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Augusto Salgado skillfully saved the ball. Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Bin Shevchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bin Shevchenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flórián Gera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Leite made a huge save. In the 95th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rákóczifalva SE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blumenau Esporte Clube.
