After a defensive mix-up in Blumenau Esporte Clube's zone, János Holzhauser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Leite came out of the goal and János Holzhauser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bin Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bálint Hellinger made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bin Shevchenko sent off a good shot on target. The FC Budapest supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blumenau Esporte Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Blumenau Esporte Clube.
