In the 7th minute, Lucas-Ignacio Lugano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Hurşit Sanal managed to get in a good position for a shot. blackeagle's supporters rose to their feet, but Hurşit Sanal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas-Ignacio Lugano scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agah Ergüner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of blackeagle booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agah Ergüner. blackeagle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bin Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 63 minutes into the game, Rıfat Kartal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Xandinho Sharkin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the blackeagle defense, Bin Shevchenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agah Ergüner. The blackeagle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agah Ergüner should have stopped the shot. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Sanal in the 71st minute of play. Jan-Erik Kilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, blackeagle's Rıfat Kartal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Luiz Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, blackeagle's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Agah Ergüner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. blackeagle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
