After a defensive mix-up in Herberia Herons's zone, Gerson Cruzado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Mian came out of the goal and Gerson Cruzado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bass Dost in the 8th minute of play forced Herberia Herons's goalkeeper Diego Mian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Herberia Herons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Strano to maneuver through the defense. Diego Mian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bass Dost in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Herberia Herons defense, Bass Dost kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Mian. The Herberia Herons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Mian should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Axel Bäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Herberia Herons's goal looked a bit too open when Bass Dost came free, but Diego Mian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes Herberia Herons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Bäck who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th minute, Bass Dost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Magnus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 37th minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Corvo in the 39th minute of the match. Bass Dost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Mian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Bass Dost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Bass Dost struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Diego Mian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Magnus. 60 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Corvo came free, but Cláudio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Bull Magnus's Richard Hefter was substituted for Bass Dost. In the 70th minute, Richard Hefter made a precise shot to the right of Diego Mian. Herberia Herons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. If Axel Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Mian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Bäck in the 74th minute of the match. Richard Hefter took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Mian. Diego Mian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 84th minute of the match Red Bull Magnus got a corner. Herberia Herons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Bäck ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Leo de Carvalho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 90th minute You Wei Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Marchesani in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Tocchetto in the 95th minute of play forced Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Cláudio Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Red Bull Magnus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
