Bogdan Pilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Borsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Pál Borsos came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Berkes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mesterháza's Zoltán Pataki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 54th minute of play. Roland Berkes scored 1-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Pilarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Mihály Cseh threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vęgoria Team's Barnaba Marchewka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vaggelis Pavlidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zoltán Pataki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Pavlidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Mesterháza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
