Bernabe Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabe Suarez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Napoleon Dropinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Dropinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Normando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Bertin in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Sören Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Beltran in the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Isidoro Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Normando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jorg Pieters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Federico Normando made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Jorg Pieters came free, but Federico Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Bengtsson scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Normando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabe Suarez lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bernabe Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Napoleon Dropinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner led Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero to fire away a dangerous shot which Pepe Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Federico Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Beltran in the 36th minute of play. Jorg Pieters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Federico Normando made a huge save. Jorg Pieters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Federico Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Beltran made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Beltran in the 51st minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Bengtsson in the 53rd minute of play. Federico Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Bengtsson in the 55th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Independiente's Jorg Pieters made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Normando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilfredo Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Jorg Pieters made a precise shot to the right of Federico Normando. Bendito Sea El Fernet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorg Pieters in the 77th minute of play. Mateo Mendez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Federico Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Pieters in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorg Pieters in the 93rd minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Beltran scored 6-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Normando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
