The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Baycan came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Talló showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cengizhan Baycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Talló was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Cengizhan Baycan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Talló was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Juvenal Talló came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Cengizhan Baycan. But to his dismay, Cengizhan Baycan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Velloso in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 50th minute, Gao Jian Jie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cengizhan Baycan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 54 minutes play.
