The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredão Brasil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Inter Gala protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredão Brasil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alfredão Brasil hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Ling came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Inter Gala made a substitution. Heinz Stalder replaced Jaime Rodrigues. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fu Ling, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Gustavo Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Seaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Linghed Angels FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Gala the free kick. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when Linghed Angels FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Fynning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linghed Angels FC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Salles in the 69th minute of play. Heinz Stalder took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Seaman. David Seaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 78 minutes into the game, Inter Gala's Heinz Stalder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heinz Stalder in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Seaman saved Linghed Angels FC from getting behind. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Donato Capixaba hit a great ball. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linghed Angels FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
