The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Beltza in the 8th minute of play. If Behe Ruisuarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Mesere's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Rasif came free, but Cai Fei Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behe Ruisuarez in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when Mesere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Trabado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Reşat Rasif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Fei Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Fei Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reşat Rasif in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cai Fei Cheng saved Mesere from getting behind. Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Joldea in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Apolo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Fei Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hever Almaguer in the 37th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Losua. Inko Sagrario's late challenge caught a KS Piastów Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inko Sagrario helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariusz Zgonina to strike the kick off in the second half. Apolo Beltza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Cai Fei Cheng made a huge save. Placido Trabado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. Cai Fei Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Kajfasz in the 64th minute of play. Mariusz Zgonina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cai Fei Cheng made a huge save. Behe Ruisuarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasz Piwko having to make a save. Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Mesere from getting a goal against them. In the 78thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Gustavo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tomasz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Boruc Magdziarz was substituted for Hieronim Winszman. Mesere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Mariusz Zgonina scored to the left of an out of position Cai Fei Cheng, making the score, 0-1. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behe Ruisuarez in the 89th minute of play. Placido Trabado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mesere getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pacho Losua hit a great ball. Cai Fei Cheng was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomasz Gorski. KS Piastów Sosnowiec played a much better game than Mesere and deserved their victory. The Mesere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
