Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Radowit Hetman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Reşat Rasif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Knudsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Mariusz Zgonina made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Knudsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Hetman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Hetman got free with Tomasz Piwko in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Hetman in the 20th minute of play. Radowit Hetman got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tomasz Piwko handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The AEK FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when AEK FC's Radowit Hetman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Mariusz Zgonina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Israel Petri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. AEK FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Endre Bjørheim tried to sneak it across the goal line. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Kajfasz in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Stordal in the 40th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Mariusz Zgonina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Knudsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When Radowit Hetman fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK FC's protests and gave Radowit Hetman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Hetman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AEK FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Piastów Sosnowiec were winning 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Zgonina to make the kick off. Kenneth Knudsen made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mariusz Zgonina sent off a good shot on target. Tore Strømsnes charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tore Strømsnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tore Strømsnes to maneuver through the defense. Erik Stordal's late challenge caught a KS Piastów Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Stordal helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reşat Rasif. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 56th minute of play. Radowit Hetman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Apolo Beltza in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on KS Piastów Sosnowiec's corner Apolo Beltza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenneth Knudsen quite easily take care of the ball. Kenneth Knudsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Kajfasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Stelian Joldea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenneth Knudsen. Stelian Joldea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in AEK FC's zone, Reşat Rasif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Knudsen came out of the goal and Reşat Rasif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelian Joldea. Tomasz Piwko came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Erik Stordal. But to his dismay, Erik Stordal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. In the 78thth minute of the game Radowit Hetman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Tytus Kajfasz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariusz Zgonina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Knudsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariusz Zgonina slotted it home off the left post making it 3-6 in the 88th minute. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Boruc Magdziarz was substituted for Hieronim Winszman. The crowd rose to their feet as KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenneth Knudsen. That made the score 3-7 after 96 minutes of play. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
