After having played for 27 minutes, Zygmunt Lichniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Lichniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Miskiewicz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Håkansson saved Karlsborg from getting behind. Mattias Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karlsborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Miskiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's players had a chance to rest. Leonard Popowicz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 39 minutes into the game, Villiam Andersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karlsborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RW AHLEN-KNURÓW the free kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mattias Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Lichniak in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Zygmunt Lichniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Lichniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Miskiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Håkansson having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Classon was the one to do the kick off. Karlsborg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Roman Miskiewicz scored to the left of an out of position Mattias Håkansson, making the score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Kenny Ekeberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. Roman Miskiewicz's shot from long distance in the 60th minute was not bad at all, but Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With a little luck, Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson got control of the ball when Zygmunt Lichniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Iwaszko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Håkansson. Eugeniusz Iwaszko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 68 minutes of play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Roman Miskiewicz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugeniusz Iwaszko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mattias Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zygmunt Lichniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Håkansson having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Norberg came free, but Fabian Burowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Miskiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Norberg in the 90th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Fabian Burowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Popowicz got free with Mattias Håkansson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
