JULM C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ma Tian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match, Ma Tian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Gamus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, Ben Kiesel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus. Guaberto Gamus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. JULM C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiburcio Lejalde in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Kiesel got free with Guaberto Gamus in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. Ma Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Tian in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when JULM C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Papadaskalopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Hunor Adam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tiburcio Lejalde was slow to take the kick. During this time JULM C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. Tiburcio Lejalde made a great header on JULM C.F.'s corner, it was just that Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus managed to reach the ball for a save. The JULM C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
