Richard Mühsam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 9th minute of play. When FC Germania München's Karsten Zentner in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavião Kyikatejê's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raitis Porītis. Richard Mühsam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC Germania München's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodney Lindov took the corner. After taking down the ball on Gavião Kyikatejê's corner Miroslaw Dobilas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Mühsam quite easily take care of the ball. Gavião Kyikatejê's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodney Lindov in the 19th minute. Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Zuasnabar came free, but Richard Mühsam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Ludger Krug came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Sitthachat Jampeehom managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FC Germania München's Kasper Rechkemmer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Kasper Rechkemmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Mühsam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Zuasnabar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Deilmison Davids's late challenge caught a FC Germania München's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

FC Germania München made a substitution. Silvester Overesch replaced Tomasz Presch. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasper Rechkemmer made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Bittencourt. 53 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Rechkemmer came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Rechkemmer in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 57th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Germania München's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodney Lindov was slow to take the kick. During this time Gavião Kyikatejê's players had a chance to rest. Richard Mühsam came out of the goal and Miguel Zuasnabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Rechkemmer in the 77th minute of play. Miguel Zuasnabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Mühsam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Zuasnabar ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Mühsam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 80th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Germania München's Kasper Rechkemmer. But to his dismay, Kasper Rechkemmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. FC Germania München made a substitution. Gunther Andromidas replaced Codrin Peter. In the 88th minute, Karsten Zentner made a precise shot to the right of Sitthachat Jampeehom. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ludger Krug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavião Kyikatejê's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
