But to his dismay, Markus Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristóvão Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Ortiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fluminense di Parma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo Cerezo was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Södertälje's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute, José Paulo Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Cerezo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Ortiz. Real Södertälje's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fluminense di Parma! Markus Svensson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Markus Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Södertälje's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Germano Cano got a free kick in the 46th minute. Cristóvão Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fluminense di Parma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Södertälje were winning 0-3.

The crowd rose to their feet as Real Södertälje's Nils-Åke Wickander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristóvão Ortiz. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. Cristóvão Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes, Fluminense di Parma's Tiago Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jack Glanselius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fluminense di Parma reached it. Nils-Åke Wickander scored 0-7 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Real Södertälje's Nils-Åke Wickander was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Fluminense di Parma's Cristóvão Ortiz got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Wickander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils-Åke Wickanders short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Cristóvão Ortiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute, Rikard Wolff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Södertälje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Real Södertälje played a much better game than Fluminense di Parma and deserved their victory. The Fluminense di Parma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
