Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Alex Dijoux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clark Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Alex Dijoux came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Dijoux couldn't finish the play. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Montenegro in the 39 minute of the game. In the 42nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Pablo Abdallah got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Dijoux to make the kick off. Clark Kent was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Pape Lillo. Zorros del Desierto's Inge Rolig was substituted for Cesar Sampaio. Allan Silm struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. Zorros del Desierto were furious when Inge Rolig was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute, one of Zorros del Desierto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zorros del Desierto. Clark Kent had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Silm in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Silm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clark Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Clark Kent in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zorros del Desierto.
