Mümtazer Bengisoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Yalazay in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Zülfü Yalazay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mümtazer Bengisoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Freddie in the 22nd minute of play forced caldiran's goalkeeper Mümtazer Bengisoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Freddie got free with Mümtazer Bengisoy in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
