When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Larkins Potter sped through Locomotiva grena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorian Machado. Locomotiva grena's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Precioso Barcaiztegui. In the 72nd minute, Larkins Potter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixten Vallengren charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixten Vallengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Larkins Potter might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larkins Potter ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Dorian Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Chiquinho Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Larkins Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larkins Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Locomotiva grena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
