Gladiator FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Dominik Spychalski scored to the left of an out of position Gustaf Albohm, making the score, 1-1. After 18 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Téo Freitas. In the 25th minute Konstantin Butylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes FC Alkomaty got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Brytan. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Gustaf Albohm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Szymon Wiater fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Blas Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Spychalski in the 58th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Gustaf Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Konstantin Butylin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantin Butylin got free with Artur Boruc in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Alkomaty's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Taranto in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Gladiator FC's Paulo Mendes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulo Mendes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gladiator FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulo Mendes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd match minute, Gladiator FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Gladiator FC made a substitution. The FC Alkomaty supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gladiator FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gladiator FC.
