Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elazar Quiero in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Yura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lokomotiv Bornova's Sezai Yura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Petkov in the 22nd minute of play. Sezai Yura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Petkov's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute, Maciej Chmelyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When Dilmen Osmanlı fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Bornova's protests and gave Dilmen Osmanlı a yellow card for diving instead. Dilmen Osmanlı hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
