Miroslaw Lanczak kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Arnaldo Colas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mandarina Mecánica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute, Tymoteusz Mikulski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Mauro defense, Arnaldo Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Hong Qiang. The Mauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Hong Qiang should have stopped the shot. Lu Hong Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Colas in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Arnaldo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mandarina Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Colas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lu Hong Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnaldo Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lu Hong Qiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Colas in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lu Hong Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Arnaldo Colas put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lu Hong Qiang. After some careless play in the Mauro defense, Arnaldo Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Hong Qiang. The Mauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Hong Qiang should have stopped the shot. Arnaldo Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fjölnir Bergsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Arnaldo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mandarina Mecánica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, La Mandarina Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Colas to maneuver through the defense. Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Colas in the 47th minute of play. After the first half La Mandarina Mecánica were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arnaldo Colas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lu Hong Qiang came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Colas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 53rd minute. Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mauro from getting a goal against them. Naike Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Islam Slimani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mauro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elias Leimann was slow to take the kick. During this time La Mandarina Mecánica's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on La Mandarina Mecánica's corner Elias Leimann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lu Hong Qiang quite easily take care of the ball. Lu Hong Qiang came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Colas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 75th match minute, Mauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Lanczak to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Colas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Lu Hong Qiang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnaldo Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lu Hong Qiang having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Fjölnir Bergsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Mandarina Mecánica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mauro the free kick. The supporters of Mauro booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fjölnir Bergsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
