With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petrică Cândreanu took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christos Agathoulis. Christos Agathoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 42nd minute Jassem Al Khars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jassem Al Khars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Stavrinos to maneuver through the defense. After the first half FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iulian Pietreanu made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Iulian Pietreanu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis. Christos Agathoulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Pietreanu in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Christos Agathoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Agathoulis was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Iulian Pietreanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iulian Pietreanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Christos Agathoulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th play minute Petrică Cândreanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christos Agathoulis. 1-10. In the 93rd minute, Wilson Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Kakavetsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded FC UNIREA Alba Iulia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trifillia.FC.
