Márton Gombos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Sporting Savaria defense, Elias Pätzold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márton Gombos. The Sporting Savaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márton Gombos should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Michael Junglas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Savaria's Márton Gombos. Márton Gombos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márton Gombos was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Csaba Gyulai's late challenge caught a FC Hollywood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Hollywood's Andrézinho Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
