Moise Fenici was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Liverpool YnWa's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Oskar Beckström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Octav Stratulat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of FC Liverpool YnWa booed when White Hart Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, White Hart Lane's Oskar Beckström got control of the ball when Lucian Ipate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Octavian Beșleaga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Alexandru Anton fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Octav Stratulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Ekman in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dick Wennerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octav Stratulat. That made the score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. Octav Stratulat came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by White Hart Lane's Dick Wennerberg. But to his dismay, Dick Wennerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match was over White Hart Lane could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Liverpool YnWa throughout the match.
